Phillip has been active in ministry since conversion in 1959. From 1970, after education at Moore Theological College, he has been employed in various ministries including working with John Chapman in the Dept. of Evangelism, Chaplain at the University of New South Wales for 30 years, Rector of St Matthias Centennial Park and Dean of Sydney at St Andrew’s Cathedral. During this time, he was chairman of Katoomba Christian Convention, planted churches, founded Matthias Media, Ministry Training Strategy, and numerous evangelistic ministries He also wrote several books and undertook University missions in Australia and overseas.
Phillip is the driving force behind the establishment of a new company, Two Ways Ministries, aiming to raise a new generation of gospel-centred preachers through training ministry workers, and modelling preaching in churches and conferences, both local and international.
His most recent book is The Coming of the Holy Spirit. Some of his works include Two Ways to Live, Guidance and the Voice of God, Prayer and the Voice of God, 1 & 2 Timothy for You and The Archer and the Arrow. You can find sermons and essays by Phillip at phillipjensen.com.
Phillip is married to Helen and has three adult children and 13 grandchildren.
Richard Chin is married to Jeanette and the father of 4 young adult children. His late wife (Bronwyn) went to be with the Lord at Easter in 2013.
He serves as the National Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES), and is based in Canberra where he also serves as a member of Crossroads Christian Church.
He is the author of Captivated by Christ, an exposition of Colossians, and How to Read the Bible better, both published by Matthias Media.
