This year at WPCC we will be thinking about Church.

Over the course of the weekend we will be considering some of the truths which the Bible teaches us about church.

To help us in this task we’re delighted to have Phillip Jensen and John Woodhouse return to the WPCC as our Bible teachers.

Speakers

Phillip Jensen

Since serving as the Dean of Sydney, Phillip Jensen has retired from pastoral ministry but not from preaching the gospel. Phillip currently leads Two Ways Ministries, which recruits and trains ministry workers in preaching the gospel by teaching the Bible. He is married to Helen and they have three adult ‘children’ and thirteen grandchildren. He is the author of many books including “By God’s word”, “Prayer and the Voice of God” and the gospel presentation “Two Ways to Live.” Phillip and Helen enjoy the fellowship that meets at UNSW Campus Church.

Phillip will be teaching us about ‘Church’ from 1 Timothy.

 John Woodhouse

John Woodhouse and his wife Moya have served the Lord in a number of contexts, including teaching at Moore College in Sydney and pastoral ministry at Christ Church, St Ives. They have four adult ‘children’ and quite a few grandchildren. John loves studying the Bible and sharing what he has leant about the Lord Jesus Christ with others. This has led to writing a few books, particularly on 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel and Colossians. John and Moya enjoy the fellowship of God’s people that meets at Auburn Anglican Church.

John will be teaching us about ‘Church’ from 1 Kings.
